Introduction to Isra Jatt

 Isra is a Jatt gotra who mainly resided in the Punjab and Sindh provinces of Pakistan. In Punjab, Isra(s) are located in District Khanewal, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Hafizabad. There resides a big majority of Isra Jatts in Tehsil Kabirwala of Khanewal district. 

The primary occupation of Isra gotra like every Jatt gotra is cultivation. Isras are ancient inhabitants of these areas where they own thousands of acres of agricultural land.

In Sindh province Pakistan and Rajisthan prvince of India, Isra jatts are called Isran اسراں.
